GoTwende was founded in 2020 with a simple yet powerful vision: to showcase the incredible diversity and beauty of African travel experiences to the world. Starting from our headquarters in Windhoek, Namibia, we recognized that Africa's tourism potential was vastly underserved by existing booking platforms.
The name "Twende" comes from Swahili, meaning "let's go" - a perfect reflection of our mission to inspire and enable travelers to explore the African continent. We believe that every journey should be accessible, authentic, and transformative.
