Payment requirements vary by activity. Here's what you need to know about deposits.
Full Payment Activities
Most activities require full payment at the time of booking. This secures your spot and allows immediate confirmation.
Deposit-Based Activities
- Some activities, especially:
- High-value experiences
- Multi-day tours
- Private charters
- Large group bookings
- ...may only require a deposit upfront, with the balance due closer to the activity date.
Deposit Amounts
- When a deposit applies, it's typically:
- 20-50% of the total price
- Non-refundable if you cancel
- Applied toward your final balance
Balance Payments
- For deposit-based bookings:
- You'll be notified before the balance is due
- Payment is usually required 7-14 days before the activity
- Your saved payment method can be charged automatically (if you opt in)
- Failure to pay the balance may result in cancellation
